GlobeTrack Web Site Design
The GlobeTrack web solution offers a number of styles of web design and layout. Websites are built using a sophisticated web content management solution with the addition of GlobeTrack 'plug-in' integrated modules. Within each website, new pages can be added as required by the user and static web content can be updated and modified as necessary.
Content browsing
All content entered in the GlobeTrack system can be made available for viewing online. Content on destinations and travel suppliers is available and individual travel supplier services can be selected or deselected for web browsing.
B2C On-line Booking Options
GlobeTrack e-commerce solutions allow the consumer to build a tailor-made tour comprising of some or all of the GlobeTrack supplier types - flights, accommodation, activities (golf, day tours etc.), transport (car hire, transfers, etc.) and extras (insurance etc.) using one form.
- In general B2C e-commerce options fall into the following categories:
- Dynamic packaging of full outbound B2C including flights, hotels, transfers and tours, set packages and promotions
- Full inbound B2C including hotels, transfers and tours, packages and promotions
- Inbound multiple product booking e.g. hotel, transfers and tours
- Outbound or inbound browse and book packages/promotions
- Outbound or inbound single product booking e.g. hotel only
A number of different styles of form are available, each tailored to suit different tour operator models. Once an itinerary shopping basket is compiled online, GlobeTrack returns a complete package price and a summary of the itinerary with the ability to proceed to booking and online payment.
Package Tours/Holidays
GlobeTrack can be used to build and manage tour series departures (package holidays). All packages are available for viewing, booking and payment online. The holidays can be searched by destination type (ski, sun, city break etc.) and date availability.
Travel Promotions
Travel promotions are similar to packages but not restricted by specific departure dates. Online booking for travel promotions can be implemented in the same manner as packages with search by destination, type and date availability.
Content Management
GlobeTrack offers a full web content management system, enabling the user to add and update content and pages and, if desired, change the page layout. The system is user friendly and suitable for the non-tech user. Text formats can be changed easily and images inserted, aligned, removed and sized. New pages can be added using existing page layouts or new layouts.
